Stronger is a personal illustration about how the obstacles women face in life can make them stronger.
I first created the artwork by hand in 2015. In 2020, I decided to bring it into the digital world, recreating it with added colour, detail and visual enhancements while keeping the original concept.
The artwork combines feminine features, such as long flowing hair, with visible emotion to show both softness and resilience. The broken heart represents the challenges and difficult moments we experience along the way, while the woman reflects the strength that can grow from them.
